During the visit, the executives were able to see the entire food and beverage operation, in addition to getting to know the partner companies that work with the house. There was also a demonstration of the sound and lighting of the stage, which is the largest indoor stage in Brazil.
Expectations for the inauguration of the mega-enterprise, which will increase the opportunities for large shows and events in Santa Catarina state, are high.
For Arena Petry's new business director, Daniel Ferreira, the atmosphere is one of optimism: "The pandemic brought challenges, but we have the positive feedback that things are already happening."
“This visit by the operations team makes us happy and excited for the transformation that will take place soon,” added Ferreira.
After changes, Arena Petry will become the first Hard Rock Live in Brazil. It will also be the largest indoor concert and event venue for the Hard Rock International group in the world, with a capacity to accommodate 17,000 attendees. The venue is designed to have the ability to simultaneously host up to 10 social events and one full show activation.
Hard Rock will follow the lead of Arena Petry as the venue will continue to attract regional and international artists and will remain the largest multi-event complex in the South region.
The Florianópolis project will consist of two additional phases after the development of Hard Rock Live. Phase II is a 300-room hotel. Later, there will be the development of a casino, which depends on the possible approval of the gaming regulation in Brazil.
The project is designed to create more than 2,000 local jobs for the construction and development of the Hard Rock Live and hotel, plus additional opportunities after each phase is completed.
