Brazilian players, influencers and eSports entities encouraged COVID-19 vaccination

Bruno 'Nobru', professional Free Fire player and co-founder of Fluxo, was vaccinated against COVID-19 last Friday (20), a day when several eSports personalities encouraged vaccination of teenagers. He posted on social networks a video of the moment he got vaccinated. Felipe 'brTT', Gustavo 'Baiano', Gabriel 'FalleN', Filipe 'Ranger', Jean 'Jean Mago', who is 17, and organizations like LOUD have also used social media to raise awareness among younger followers.

The movement of eSports personalities began after GloboNews journalist Renan Brites asked digital influencers to campaign for vaccination. That's because the mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes, said he was having trouble communicating with teenagers aged 16 and 17 to encourage them to get immunized.

Only 10,000 young people in this age group took the first dose of the immunizing agent, according to Brites.

After the journalist's manifestation, several personalities of electronic sports spoke: Felipe "brTT", Gustavo "Baiano", Gabriel "FalleN", Filipe "Ranger", Jean "Jean Mago", who is even 17, and organizations like LOUD used social media to raise awareness among younger followers to seek out COVID-19 immunization.

“Those who don't get vaccinated will never again win a Ranked in any game. Don't be bronze,” said Baiano, republishing Renan's post. Jean Mago, on the other hand, used Twitter to state: "children should be vaccinated."
