The series “The Rules of Gaming” will have its third seminar with the following theme: “The Legal Future of eSports in Brazil”. The conversation about advances in the area will be mediated by the member of the OAB/DF Gaming Law Commission, Vitor Rangel, and will feature important guests who are reference in the subject: Danielle Maiolini – Partner and Director of Netshoes Miners; Nicolle “Cherrygumms” Myers - CEO of Black Dragons e-Sports; and Thomas Felsberg – Co-founder of BBL e-Sports.
The 3rd Seminar will take place next Friday (27), at 10 am, broadcasted only via Zoom. To participate, interested parties must send an email to [email protected].
Held in June, the inaugural event was the 1st Seminar “O Brasil Visa de Fora” (Brazil from the outside), which was mediated by the President of the Commission, Sérgio Garcia Alves, and brought together Cassandra Matilde, manager of the Global Lottery Monitoring System; Victoria Fernandes, manager of regulatory compliance in sports betting company; and Pedro Cortés, partner at Rato, Ling, Lei & Cortés Advogados.
The 2nd Seminar was held in July and focused exclusively on 'Sports Betting'. Under the baton of multi-purpose Bárbara Teles, Colombian specialist Hugo Llanos taught about Operations and Business Models and lawyer Maria Luiza Kurban Jobim addressed legal and regulatory issues of the vertical in Brazil.
