Bodog, KTO, NetBet and Betsul grow in sports bookmakers ranking of interactions in Brazil

August was marked by a drop compared to July in total, according to the monthly ranking of interactions of sports bookmakers that have Brazilian profiles on social networks, produced by the agency Samba Digital. Bodog reached the first place on Facebook and Betsul (6th) climbed four places. KTO jumped to 5th place on Instagram, tripling its interactions and reached the Top 10 on Twitter, list where NetBet rose to 7th place. In the Top 10 of the same network, Fogobet appears for the first time.

General Numbers

With 650,000 interactions, August was marked by a drop of 37.5% compared to July in total interactions. The month marked a significant change: Instagram once again had more interactions than Twitter. While in July Twitter represented 52% of the total, in August Instagram added the most interactions: the same 52%.

Number of Posts

August on Twitter had 334 fewer posts than in July. Already on Instagram, 70 posts less. In all, there were 1311 on Instagram and 5436 on Twitter. Facebook does not seem to be an interesting market for bookmakers: 411 posts in all and few companies have directed their investments there.

Bodog, new leader on Facebook

Bodog reached number one on Facebook’s rankings during August. The bookmaker has more than tripled last month's interactions ranging from 7.5k to 23.4k. Betmotion also improved its position in the Top 10 and reached the 5th place, while Bestul was another betting site that registered important growth, rising from the 10th to the 6th place.

Great performance of KTO

The European bookmaker KTO reaffirmed its strong expansion in Brazil in August, with an important growth in the ranking of two social networks. On twitter, KTO entered the Top 10 (in July it wasn't on the list) and with 4.9k interactions it got the 4th place. On Instagram, the company climbed two places and went from 7th to 5th place in the ranking, with a huge jump in interactions: from 4.4k to 12.6k in just one month.

Fogobet debuts on Twitter ranking

Fogobet's daily and serious work on social networks is already showing results in August. The bookmaker that has Rafinha as its brand ambassador debuted its presence in Twitter’s Top 10. Fogobet took 9th place with more than 600 user interactions.

Betsson and NetBet also on the rise

On twitter, Betsson rose one position (from 7th to 6th) with a 50% growth in the amount of interactions: from 1k to 1.5k.

At the same time, NetBet also improved its performance and climbed from 9th to 7th in the Top 10, with 845 interactions.

 

 

Great Performance

Sportstbet.io Brasil is still on the rise and being the sports betting house with the best performance both on Twitter and Instagram. The prevalence is high and represents 85% of all interactions on Twitter. On Instagram, Sportsbet.io, also in the lead, represents 62.6% of the total.

Best daily performance and Betano's

The 7,27 thousand interactions on Instagram on August 3rd was the peak of the month. In this case, Betano activated its sponsorship of Fluminense and made a design exalting Tricolor's classification for the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores. In the caption, a song from the crowd made the publication the flagship of the daily performance.

Who posted the most in August?

On Instagram it was Lucky Betting, with 148 posts. Betcris was second: 125. On Twitter it was Betway eSports BR with 1158 posts, followed by KTO Brasil with 973.

New followers

On Twitter, Sportsbet.io Brasil gained 5,200 new followers while Betway eSports BR lost 352. On Instagram, Sportsbet.io Brasil gained 6,500 new followers, followed by KTO Brasil with 4,800 and Estadium with 4,300. In the opposite line, BetMais.tv lost 804 and Lucky Betting lost another 1,100 thousand.
