Three new deputies added to WG that will update Brazil’s gaming regulatory framework

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), appointed last Thursday (16) three new members for the Working Group (WG) that will discuss and update Bill 442/91, which deals with the regulatory framework for gaming in the Brazil. The bill is ready to go to plenary vote. New deputies nominated are Luís Tibé (Avante-MG), Eduardo Bismarck (PDT-CE) and Celso Sabino (no party – PA).

Last Thursday (16), Arthur Lira published a new Act of the President regarding the Working Group created by him to discuss the regulatory framework for games in Brazil and update Bill 442/91 to be taken to the Plenary.

In the document, the President of the Chamber of Deputies appointed three more members to the WG: Luís Tibé (Avante-MG), Eduardo Bismarck (PDT-CE) and Celso Sabino (no party – PA).

The Bill contemplates the regulation of casinos in integrated resorts, urban casinos, bingos, video games, jogo do bicho and online gaming.

The new members are added to deputies Bacelar (PODE-BA), coordinator of the Working Group, Felipe Carreras (PSC-PE), rapporteur, Newton Cardoso Jr. (MDB-MG), Marx Beltrão (MDB-AL), Vermelho ( PSD-PR), Bibo Nunes (PSL-RS), Leur Lomanto Junior (DEM-BA), Herculano Passos (PSD/SP), Otávio Leite (PSDB-RJ) and Augusto Coutinho (Solidariedade-PE).
