In addition to this section within the TV show, Amaury and NetBet also run a promotion on journalist @amaurygnunes' Instagram profile. Called #PalpitesComAmaury, it gives the presenter's followers the opportunity to guess the results of three matches in the Brazilian Championship, as well as compete for prizes such as official shirts, tickets, football shoes, airpods and much more.
Amaury is a former football player and started his career still in Flamengo's youth divisions. In 2004, after playing for two years among the professionals at Bangu, he was transferred to the United States, where he began his college football career for the Oklahoma Baptist University team. After a year, he played for Fresno Pacific University and ended his university career after scoring 70 goals in four years.
During his time as a player, Amaury was runner-up in 2009 and champion in 2010, scoring seven goals in 17 matches. It was from there that he received offers from clubs abroad and ended up accepting to play for KSV Hessen Kassel, from Regionalliga Süd (Germanic fourth division, the first at regional level) in Germany, in 2010.
In parallel to the university, he started a sports exchange project, creating the A10 Academy, where he recruits young people across Brazil so that they can get the same opportunity he had. Since then he has helped more than 500 athletes have an opportunity to play football and study in the United States.
Currently, at BandSports, he runs the shows “Arquibancada BandSports” and “Fala, Presidente!”
“Podapostar” Podcast
The partnership between Amaury and NetBet is not only on TV and social networks, but also on streaming platforms, through the podcast “Podapostar”, where every week Amaury, along with professional bettor Felipe Joioso, invites someone who doesn't know much on the subject of sports betting to talk about hunches, possibilities, games in the championship round, among other topics.
