The purpose of Loteria Mineira is to "hire a company to carry out the operational activities inherent to the exploration and operation of Traditional Lottery games, in physical media: "Item 1-Instant Lottery" and "Item 2-Conventional Lottery" through granting concession of strategic planning services, product creation, printing, implementation and operation of lottery products, marketing, storage, creation and operation of a distribution network, commercialization and payment of prizes, through the granting of public service exploitation through a contract of Concession, based on Federal Law No. 8,987/95.”
The registration of participants interested in expressing themselves in the Public Consultation must be carried out until 23:59 (twenty-three hours and fifty-nine minutes) on January 26, 2022, by completing the APPLICATION that makes up Annex I – Registration Form of the LEMG Public Consultation Notice No. 01/2022.
The manifestations about the object of this Consultation, by the previously registered participants, must be delivered exclusively in digital media up to 45 (forty-five) consecutive days, counted from the date of publication of the Notice in the Official Gazette of the State of Minas Gerais. This period will end at 23:59 (twenty-three hours and fifty-nine minutes) on February 25, 2022.
The granting of the concession will be in force for a period of 15 years, from the publication of the extract of the contractual instrument in the official press, and may be extended for an equal period, only once, according to the interest of the Public Administration. The value estimated by LEMG is R$ 1.5 billion (US$ 265m).
The documents published by LEMG stipulate the lottery modalities contemplated in the basic project, as well as the description of each one of them and provide for the operation, distribution and commercialization of lottery products in physical medium within the state of Minas Gerais.
