“To carry out this partnership with the largest national football institution [CBF] is very rewarding and we are very happy to bring the experience of Rei do Pitaco to Brazilian football fans. Our purpose is to raise the level of the fantasy game and, for sure, we will reach that level,” said Mateus Dantas, CEO of Rei do Pitaco.
Recently, Rei do Pitaco announced the receipt of a contribution in the amount of R$ 180 million, led by the funds D1 Capital Partners, Kaszek, Bullpen Capital and Left Lane. The investment is the first round of funding for the company, which received an initial investment in 2021 in the amount of R$ 28 million.
Simulating a championship, the fantasy game format is to use the real performance of the players to score virtually in the game. In the case of Rei do Pitaco, the leagues are all football and users can assemble teams from different divisions.
Here, the main championships are included, such as the Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil and Libertadores, as well as international tournaments, such as the Champions League and the French, English and German leagues.
