EGR announced that the EGR Power Latam Summit will be back in person for 2022. While progress in online gambling regulation in Brazil continues to see continued setbacks and delays in legalisation, recent progress suggests that regulation of sports betting may be on the agenda for summer 2022.
This panel will discuss the activities of the Congress working group currently reviewing the terms of issues such as taxation, whether this coming year might see some much-awaited steps towards regulation of sports betting, as well as other forms of gambling, and what this framework might look like.
