On the eve of resuming activities in the Chamber, Arthur Lira is already warming up the tambourines for the votes that he will put on the plenary agenda starting next week, when the parliamentary recess ends.
In a meeting in Brasília this Tuesday with the rapporteur of the proposal that regulates gaming verticals such as jogo do bicho, casinos and bingos, Felipe Carreras (PSB-PE), Lira assured the deputy that the project will be voted on as soon as the parliamentarians resume work.
An agreement at the end of last year guaranteed the vote on the urgency of the bill that regulates casinos, but the merit was left for this year.
The proposal faces resistance from the evangelical bench, which has already asked Bolsonaro to veto it, if it is approved by Congress.
