Intralot do Brasil, operator of Loteria Mineira in Brazil since 2010 and with a strong presence in the main events in the gaming and betting sectors, was present at yet another edition of the World Lottery Summit (WLS), in Vancouver, Canada.
Organized by the World Lottery Association, the event attracts the main regulatory bodies, state and private lottery operators and other providers in the sector.
Gustavo Mantovani, director of management and operations, and Sérgio Alvarenga, CEO, represented Intralot do Brasil at the meeting and brought the company's experience in the Brazilian lottery market to the main discussion environment on technology, marketing and commercial.
For Sérgio Alvarenga, the reunion with the main world leaders in the sector is a great opportunity after two years of restrictions due to the covid-19 pandemic. “At the WLS, everyone meets to exchange experiences and the technological update is so dynamic that being present again allows us to follow the developments of the activity and the movement of the sector towards the future.”
Alvarenga said that Intralot's presence at the event is important, given the fact that the company is at the forefront of the private lottery operation in Brazil. “It is always good to participate to accompany the technological development of the sector and bring the main innovations and best practices of the market to Brazil,” he said.
“We had the opportunity to meet with the main players in the market, including Intralot, IGT, Scientific Games and NeoGames. For us this was important, in addition to the presence of numerous representatives of official and state lotteries at the event,” he added.
“Not only Intralot do Brasil as an operator, as well as the official lotteries are seeking the best practices and that has the best in the market to be able to organize its future operations.”
