Former player of the Brazilian national team

BraXbet signs five-time world champion Junior as brand ambassador

The former player and left back of the five-time world championship with the Brazilian national team in 2002, Junior, will be the new ambassador of betting site BraXbet. The contract will last six months and provides for the use of the athlete's image in advertising campaigns, in addition to the presence in events, participation in posts on the brand's social networks and also on the personal page.

Born in Santo Antônio de Jesus, Bahia, Jenílson Ângelo de Souza, Junior, debuted in Vitória-BA in 1994. Two years later, he arrived at Palmeiras, for which he was champion of the Copa do Brasil and the Mercosur Cup in 1998, and the Libertadores, in 1999, when he became an idol of the ‘alviverde’ fans.

In 2000, he moved to Parma, Italy, where he stayed until 2004. At the World Cup in Japan and South Korea in 2002, he was called up by Felipão and was part of the group that won the fifth world championship with Brazil.

In 2005, Júnior arrived in São Paulo. With the ‘Tricolor’ jersey, he won the Libertadores (2005), a Club World Cup (2005) and three Brasileirões (2006, 2007 and 2008). Finally, he spent a year at Atlético-MG and hung up his boots in Goiás in 2010.

According to Flávio Aparecido Santos, BraXbet executive, "the assessment we made about the Brazilian sports betting market and casinos is that the bettor here has few alternatives, or rather, few options in terms of bookmakers. The market seemed to be highly concentrated, in contrast with the increasing demand from people interested in having fun in this entertainment field.”

"In World Cup year, it is an honor to be an ambassador for BraXbet. Representing a serious brand, which works with the national passion, which is football, leaves me accomplished," said Júnior, who had the contract negotiated by Wolff sports agency.

Santos says that "our perception was that the Brazilian, known to be passionate about football, and culturally always liked to make the so-called "extra money", saw in the bookmakers the perfect union between the passion for the sport, or even for his favorite team, with the real possibility of making an extra profit – and that's perfect!".

For all these reasons, BraXbet arrives in the country structuring its operation according to the needs of the local public, with the aim of being a house that really meets the expectations of the Brazilian: "We hope to provide the bettor of Brazil the opportunity to interact with the most modern and technological in terms of online sports betting in dozens of sports, plus casino, live casino, virtual eSports etc."

"Our user will have an advanced platform, friendly, easy to operate, with super attractive odds, multiple markets, endless possibilities of gains and the certainty that you can withdraw your assets quickly and safely," concludes Flávio Santos.
