NSports launches World Cup pool with Olympic athletes and open to the public

In the wake of the start of the biggest football event on the planet, NSports, the first streaming platform in Brazil, created a free pool for football lovers. The initiative, which is open to the public, will also feature the presence of big names in Brazilian sport. There will be awards for the three best placed in the ranking - with the exception of athletes.

In addition to the general listing, which will include special guests and all people who register, there will be a ranking only of sportsmen and each will represent a charity entity, in order to give visibility to social causes in addition to fostering the dispute as a whole.

Guilherme Figueiredo, CEO of NSports, a company that impacted more than 55 million people in 2022 alone, talks about this sportech initiative:

"Following major competitions such as the Olympic, Pan American and South American Games we always see Time Brasil’s athletes cheering a lot for each other and it would be no different in the biggest football competition on the planet. So we launched the pool to reinforce this crowd in a playful way, creating a competition between them and still inviting the public to test their guesses against the great Brazilian athletes," he points out.

Among the athletes participating are Ana Marcela Cunha, Olympic champion in Tokyo 2020 and elected seven times as the best swimmer in the world; Alison dos Santos (Piu), world champion in 2022 in the 400-m hurdles; Bia Ferreira, South American champion (2018), pan-American (2019) and world (2019); Rodrigo "Capita", two-time futsal world champion and five times nominated for the best player in the world award; Amandinha, ten times voted best player in the futsal world; and Luisa Stefani, the first Olympic medalist in the history of Brazilian tennis and the only athlete from Brazil to reach the world's top 10 in the doubles rankings.

To be part of the dispute alongside these players, users just have to access for free at bolao.nsports.com.br.

On the pool's website there is a page with the bio of the athletes, where the institution represented by him is also indicated. Among the various organizations listed are "Empresto minhas pernas " (I lend my legs), which acts in the social inclusion of people with disabilities; the voluntary INCA, which provides support to patients who are undergoing cancer treatment; and “Gerando Falcões”, an ecosystem of social development, which aims to accelerate the impact power of leaders in Brazilian slums.
