The club’s president will be brand's ambassador

SKA Brasil and five-time champion Edmilson sign partnership with bookmaker BrasilPlay

Former five-time world champion defender Edmilson, retired ten years ago, is the new brand ambassador for bookmaker BrasilPlay. The currently president of SKA Brazil (SP) will be the main character of the betting site, which will stamp its logo on the team’s jersey. The figures of the deal were not disclosed, but the company's logo will be seen, from next year, on the back of the jersey of professional and under-20 teams.

In addition, there will be ads pieces in the club's Training Center, activations in social networks and participation of players in events.

"SKA Brasil has an extremely professional and structured management project. It is an immense joy to realize this sponsorship, an unprecedented association among the more than one hundred that we have in our portfolio," analyzes Fábio Wolff, managing partner of Wolff Sports, the company that brokered the agreement.

SKA Brasil is a club focused on the formation of players. And Edmilson, once retired from the pitch, turned his attention to sports management.

In addition to commenting on national and international games on TV, Edmílson trained as a sports manager until he became president, in 2019, of FC SKA Brasil, which is based in Santana do Parnaíba, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.

The club's main mission is to train athletes from the U-11 to the Professional categories, with the objective of placing them in the international market, going through the entire maturation process at the base of the institution.

"Within our strategy, we seek partners who believe in the project and want to enhance their job done by the SKA Brasil and Edmílson combo. This values our brands as well as generates numerous possibilities of activations. The synergy between the three is incredible, since the club and sponsor have the word 'Brazil' in the name, as well as I have a very great relationship for being five-time champion," added Edmílson.

Edmílson's partnership with BrasilPlay provides, among the counterparts, the use of the athlete's image in the company's advertising campaigns, the presence in events, in addition to his participation in brand posts, on social networks.

Next season, SKA will stamp the logo brand on the back of the professional and U-20 team jersey, having the label of official sponsor of the team. In addition, there will be ad pieces at the Teacher Telê Santana Athlete Training Center, activations in social networks and participation of players in events.
