PixBet to pioneer free-to-play acquisition and retention in Brazil for the World Cup

Inside The Pocket (ITP), the world’s largest free-to-play (F2P), pay-to-play (P2P) and daily fantasy sports (DFS) aggregation platform, has announced its latest betting-operator partnership with popular Brazilian operator PixBet for the Qatar 2022. “This partnership makes such strategic sense for us, as we stand on the cusp of two seismic events in Brazil: the World Cup and the impending rollout of regulation in the country,” says PixBet founder, Ernildo Santos.

Under the terms of the agreement, ITP has created a bespoke slate of F2P games and a dedicated F2P website (PixJogos) for the operator, whose engaging gameplay and localized flexibility will help drive new levels in acquisition and retention for PixBet around this keystone showpiece event, where operator performance and correlated marketing targets are paramount. In turn, this milestone deal also provides ITP with an open gateway into the bubbling Brazilian market and a showcase for its original set of native and third-party products.

This collaboration also features the tech innovators and traders at the W.A.Technology Group, with whom ITP have launched two exciting free-to-play fantasy league games focusing on the World Cup for PixBet, via its popular F2P-specific site pixjogos.com. Players can enjoy Bolão do Milhão, a perfect introduction to the concept of spreads and favourites, predicting scores and reveling in the chance to become a millionaire. Or users can also take part in Previsões Da Copa, making more specific World Cup Predictions (e.g. around statistical propositions and player props) and trying to play their way to the top of a live leaderboard which boosts fan engagement and online hang-time.

The deal also leverages natural synergies with an increasing number of PixBet’s committed local channels and promotional activity, all focused on acquisition and retention of a loyal audience. Indeed, the Brazilian bookmaker has already secured a new level in brand awareness in this key, soon-to-regulate sports betting market of 2023, with multiple advertising segments secured across Grupo Bandeirantes de Rádio’s five national radio stations (Band FM, Rede Nativa, Rádio Bandeirantes, PlayFM and Band News) alongside open programming slots on Rede Globo, Brazi’s renowned free-to-air TV network.

ITP’s single integration approach for one or multiple products introduces, in complementary fashion, customer engagement and retention across various products as sports betting regulation is on the verge of rolling out across Brazil’s legalised framework.

The deal allows PixBet to offer a comprehensive F2P and fantasy products to a new audience via the ITP platform, an industry-first aggregation model for the gaming industry. This game-changing digital marketplace now affords a host of innovative suppliers one simple route to market which, in turn, offers ITP clients a wealth of value-creation opportunities across a spectrum of content from a single, seamless integration.

ITP clients like PixBet can now appeal to a range of recreational player-groups and fulfil varied acquisition and retention goals. At its core, this collaboration presents a way of entertaining and educating players without the need to push them towards more quick-fix introductory offers which have already proven themselves unsustainable for a mutually beneficial and socially-responsible ecosystem.

PixBet founder, Ernildo Santos, said: “This partnership with an aggregator as unique as ITP makes such strategic sense for PixBet, as we stand on the cusp of two seismic events in Brazil. First, it’s the ongoing World Cup, the most important and most watched football competition in the world - and even more so among Brazil's football-mad fanbase! And second, of course, is the impending rollout of regulation across a greenfield territory that is primed to embrace the fun and excitement of sports betting over the year ahead.

ITP’s trademark flair for design and technical know-how set them apart in the overlapping F2P / DFS domains of game development, player management and multi-level data. As a result, we look forward to growing a new customer base and, equally importantly, retaining them! In short, we’re now in a position to really track how these localized games perform in specific localities, as regulation begins to roll out across Brazil.

Thanks to a range of recent media partnerships, not to mention PixBet’s position as the most prolific betting partner of Brazilian football clubs, a breakthrough World Cup performance is on the cards in Qatar, responsibly appealing to experienced and novice bettors alike. The initial traction we’ve witnessed has been hugely encouraging.

Hussain Naqi, Founder and CEO of Inside The Pocket, said: “PixBet were looking for acquisition and retention assistance to support their World Cup efforts and existing media partnerships. This is a landmark deal for us entering the Brazilian market, offering a fresh fleet of native and third-party products.

It’s been a real thrill to work with their team on a bespoke portfolio of games for the upcoming World Cup and we can’t wait to see how they connect with fans as the tournament unfolds. PixBet can execute so much better than some of the global behemoths eyeing the Brazilian space simply because they know their end user so intimately.

Sportsbooks and media companies across the soon-to-regulate Brazilian marketplace can now elevate their acquisition and retention targets via ITP, with this sports betting content aggregation platform affording easy access to the best products on the market, featuring F2P, peer-to-peer DFS and other agile content solutions.

We’re perfectly positioned to leverage this opportunity because we can diversify content, leverage consumer data and segment it for our clients as the Brazilian market takes shape over the next 12 months. Our complementary partners at marketing analytics and geolocation are also affording ITP unique consumer insights that will allow us to hyper-localise audience communication for the World Cup and a host of other mass-media sporting events on the horizon in 2023.”

Dave Hickey, Head of Sports & Managed Services at W.A.Technology Group, added: “Partnering with ITP and PixBet has been an amazing journey so far. They share our values and vision and we look forward to putting our combined shoulders to the wheel to make PixBet the biggest and best sportsbook in Brazil. W.A.Technology Group is thrilled to be supplying two top services to PixBet, our outstanding video product to pixbet.tv and our thrilling Fantasy League products to F2P site pixjogos.com in tandem with ITP.”
