What's the Best Place to See?
Today on top of my list are the places to see and capture, as they are the calling card of all Australian travel. It turns out that if you haven't seen these places, then you haven't seen the Australia that everyone knows.
We advise you to visit:
Sydney Opera House
This building is the main attraction of Australia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All tourists visiting Australia are magnetically attracted to the Sydney Opera House hovering above the waters of the harbor.
Once you see it, you'll never mistake it for any other building in the world. The building's architecture is appreciated by its contemporaries and it has been recognised since it opened as a landmark of Sydney and Australia.
Blue Mountains
The Blue Mountains National Park is one of Australia's most scenic places. In 1958 the entire Great Dividing Range was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The nature of the park is a typical Australian rainforest with huge blue gums and tree ferns. The Blue Mountains themselves are unique and unusual.
Harbor Bridge
It's one of the largest steel arch bridges in the world, connecting central Sydney to the North Shore. Harbour Bridge is one of the main attractions of Sydney. The bridge is 1,149 meters long and there are road, rail and pedestrian connections. Because of its unusual shape bridge got its humorous nickname "the hanger," which is often used in speech by locals.
Once a year, Harbour Bridge is the country's biggest New Year's Eve fireworks display. Every year, more than a billion people in the world see this uniquely beautiful show.
Ayers Rock
Uluru or Ayers Rock is a sacred place for Australian Aboriginal people. The base of the rock is riddled with caves and their walls are covered with ancient inscriptions and drawings. Locals still come to the foot of the rock to perform rituals in honor of the natural deity. The mountain giant is made of red sandstone, it is because of its amazing property of changing color, at sunrise and sunset Uluru looks very different.
The Great Barrier Reef
It is one of the largest coral reef systems in the world. It consists of 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands, stretching over 2,600 kilometers over about 344,400 square kilometers. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, near the northern border of the mainland. It is so large that it can be seen even from space - it is the world's largest formation created by living organisms. In the north, it is almost uninterrupted, located just 50 km from the coast of Australia, and in the south, it breaks up into groups of individual reefs, in some places retreating from the shore to 300 km.
It was named one of the wonders of the world and in 1981 the Great Barrier Reef was recognized as a World Heritage Site.
Places and Restaurants You Must Visit
Australia's popular restaurants range from traditional English fare to continental options. European fare is also popular. That's why restaurants in Australia try to stay true to traditional breakfast fried bacon, pizza and other favorites.
Café Sydney
The restaurant, which is beloved by locals and tourists alike, is located on the roof of Customs, across from the Circular Quay neighborhood. It involves views of the Harbor Bridge and Opera House, rushing pedestrians and wandering ferries. As for the food, it's divine.
Icebergs
This place isn't cheap, but when the food is so good and the view so good, who can fault the prices? For years, this restaurant has attracted locals, tourists, sometimes even celebrities who want to sit by the window and watch the wave crash on the shore at Bondi Beach. Put on your best attire and prepare to behave appropriately.
Opera Bar
You'll find a festive atmosphere at the Opera Bar, located in the lobby just behind the opera house. The bar, of course, has tables inside the venue, such as in case it rains, but you'll probably want to take a seat at the bar or those tables right on the edge of Sydney Harbor. Order a bottle of wine and a plate of onion rings (served with paprika). A great place to take selfies in front of the Harbor Bridge.
Altitude Restaurant
This trendy spot is frequented by office workers and tourists looking for a thrill. Altitude Restaurant is located on the 36th floor. It serves modern Australian cuisine (lamb, swordfish, etc.) and offers a 4-course fixed-price menu on weekends.
Casinos and Online casinos
We couldn't forget to write about online casinos in this country. In fact, Australia is a country where gambling is completely legalized. You will not face any restrictions. Every year the country's residents spend in excess of USD 6 million in casinos. This is about USD 500 a person.
But be careful, because when you win good money and still enjoy the game, it can lead you to addiction.
The results of analytical studies show that the biggest part of Australian gamblers prefer to play at casino Australia online. Next on the list are slot machines located outside of specialized gambling establishments. There are hundreds of pubs in Australia that have slot machines. A total of several thousand slot machines of various models are at the users' disposal.
In third place are elite land-based casinos. Today in the country officially operate more than 400 licensed gambling outlets, including land-based casinos, casinos on cruise ships, racetracks and more.
Wherever you are in the world of Green Continent, you will get a warm welcome from the local population, and the nature of Australia will open a gateway to the wonderful world of tropical forests, crystal clear lakes and unspoilt lands.
For those who love the hustle and bustle of the city there is always leisure in the form of restaurants and online games. No person will fail to fall in love with this country. After all, all you need to get a lot of impressions is already created in this small continent.
Decide what you would like to visit and start your journey soon.
