Although it was not included in the report of the Working Group (WG) that makes a diagnosis of the government's actions in the area of tourism, the legalization of the gaming sector was mentioned in the conversation between one of the representatives of this WG and the vice-president-elect, Geraldo Alckmin, transition coordinator.
One of the main advocates within Congress for the legalization of gaming in the country, Deputy Felipe Carreras (PSB-PE), who is part of this WG, participated in delivering the report to Alckmin.
In the end, he didn't miss the opportunity and spoke to the future deputy about the importance of approving the gaming activity in the country, in his opinion.
He repeated the collection data, the number of jobs that can be generated, among others, and spoke of the resistance of evangelical sectors in Congress.
He cited that there is a certain hypocrisy in the arguments of the contrary. Alckmin even agreed, but avoided further comment.
