Betano closes partnership with Globo for Brazil’s national football in 2023

Betano, one of the main online sports betting houses in the country, has just closed a partnership with Globo for broadcasting of the Brazilian Championship and the Copa do Brasil on TV Globo and the company's digital platforms in the 2023 season. The brand will be in the 'top 5' and will have inserts before matches and during breaks in championship broadcasts, also including deliveries on Globo Esporte.

In 2022, the company renewed the master sponsorship of the clubs Atlético Mineiro (MG) and Fluminense (RJ), in addition to having sponsored important championships, such as the Brazilian, series A and B.

Another outstanding move by the brand was the agreement with FIFA as a regional sponsor of the Qatar World Cup in Europe, becoming the first official sports betting partner of the Federation.

"The partnership with Globo for two of the most relevant national championships in the country reaffirms the solidity and trust of our brand, in addition to the commitment we have with the promotion of the sports market, mainly football," points out Alexandre Fonseca, country manager of Betano in Brazil.

“Football is seen as a national passion in Brazil and is also among our main pillars in the sports betting segment. We are very happy with this new partnership, which is certainly another successful step in our history," adds Fonseca.

Media negotiation and strategy was carried out by Artplan. "Betano's presence on Globo's Futebol reinforces the consistency of the message we are building, aiming to further enhance the brand in 2023. Nothing better than using the biggest visibility project on Brazilian TV combined with the reach of TV Globo to expand to one of the biggest brands in the country," concludes Joana Chulam, director of Media.
