“We came from nothing and we are conquering the world.” The crowded arenas, euphoric chants and support from fans in several countries explain the phrase of KSCERATO, professional player of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. And the unprecedented result of a team from Brazil at the PGL Major, the biggest CS:GO event on the planet, in Stockholm, was just part of this journey started in the countryside of Minas Gerais, in 2017.
The documentary “FURIA: Road to Legends” was released this Tuesday (15) by Red Bull Media House, available exclusively on Red Bull TV, in which it portrays the trajectory of the team, reveals behind the scenes between players and difficult decisions of the technical command to echo the sound of Pantera beyond the Brazilian border.
Spanning 40 minutes and fast-paced, “FURIA: Road to Legends” takes the CS:GO and eSports fan on a journey across North America and Europe. The pressure for the place in the Major, the dispute in the main world event of the game, the relationship between the team composed by Yuri 'yuurih' Boian, Andrei 'arT' Piovezan, Kaike 'KSCERATO' Cerato, Vinicius 'VINI' Figueiredo and André 'drop ' Abreu outside the PCs and also with other legends, like S1mple, and even the bold promises made to get even closer to his goals guarantee emotion and surprises in the narrative.
“We are here to become the best team in the world. We are not here to be just another team,” says Nicholas 'Guerri' Nogueira, in an excerpt from the documentary.
The film also explores the reasons why Drop was chosen as the fifth player and even shows 'Last Dance' by Vini with the FURIA shirt. "We put Drop in to give an opportunity, to see how it would be. When you change a player it's a little difficult, because you lose a lot, connection... but who knows, Drop may not be that fifth player and help us for years to conquer what we want," completes yuurih.
Audiences can follow the documentary in this link or via the Red Bull TV app, available globally for all mobile devices and browsers. Last Monday (14), Gaules, the largest streamer in Brazil, promoted a premiere on his Twitch channel to present the project.
FALLEN and eSports legends are also streaming
A national passion for decades, CS:GO dealt with several obstacles in Brazil until it became one of the main games in the country. And one of the exponents who put Brazil in the spotlight for the world was Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo, a character in the third episode of the 'Part of the Game' series, available exclusively on Red Bull TV, through this link.
The eSports fan can still follow how some legends from different games, such as FIFA, Street Fighter and CS:GO, achieved success in the 'Esports: Unfold' series or the historic saga of OG, from Dota 2, towards the top of the world, in the documentary 'Against the Odds', available on the platform.
