Imperial Sportsbet.io closes with “Last Dance” and will feature CS:GO legends in Brazil

The structures of Brazilian eSports suffered a strong shake last Friday (18). Last Dance, a project that has some of the biggest Counter Strike: Global Offensive legends in the country, closed with the Brazilian organization Imperial Sportsbet.io. With this, great names in the CS:GO scene become part of the team, including Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Ricardo 'boltz' Prass, Vinicius 'VINI' Figueiredo, Lincoln 'fnx' Lau, Fernando 'fer' Alvarenga and the coach Luis 'peacemaker' Tadeu.

One of the great names of eSports in the country, FalleN explained why he chose Imperial Sportsbet.io as his home and praised the willingness of everyone involved to make the outcome as good as possible: “Last Dance now has a home. We've moved mountains to be able to count on this team that wants to play together so much. There was a lot of speculation about big international organizations counting on us, but it was always Imperial Sportsbet.io that stood by and did everything possible to welcome us. I couldn't be happier and it's great to be in a place where everyone was betting on us from the start."

The player also praised the persistence of the team's CEO, Felippe “felippe1” Martins in bringing this strong team together. “What I enjoyed in the conversations with Felippe is that, clearly, he is a guy who wants us there. It's more than just a business, the project has become a mission for him,” concluded the two-time world champion.

Founded in 2018, Imperial Sportsbet.io now has the chance to be represented by a dream team. The CEO of the “felippe1” team praised the fact that a 100% Brazilian organization has managed to form such a strong team, even with competition from teams from other parts of the world: “It is one of the biggest challenges in the national eSports business scenario. A purely Brazilian organization, founded on the dream of a former Counter Strike coach and player, who can feel the same joys, fears and challenges as those who wear our shirt, to reach this moment of welcoming game legends. It's historic."

“I ask that the fans be with us, because this project is for the community and everyone who values Brazilian eSports. I cannot fail to thank Sportsbet.io, a partnership and support that will complete two years, and made this dream possible,” says felippe1.

Since 2018 making its way, Imperial Sportsbet.io now sees an incredible opportunity to step up the eSports scene by bringing together a team of big names. Previously more restricted to South America, the organization wants to take bigger steps.

“Because we have such strong names in the CS:GO scene, we also have a responsibility to seek evolution as an organization and always compete at the highest level. This is the thought of everyone involved in this new moment, so we will seek to achieve much bolder goals in the future, moving up to the top shelf in our scenario,” completed Fernando “fer” Figueiredo.

LAST DANCE

The Last Dance project, created earlier this year, brought together some of the biggest names in national CS:GO, with the intention that they could finally play together again and repeat the glories of the past. The name was inspired by the Netflix documentary of the same name, which shows the victorious trajectory of Michael Jordan in the Chicago Bulls, and came from the community itself.

“I'm a challenge-driven guy and I think this was one of the biggest challenges of my career: finding the right people to remake what we've done in the past. Let's enjoy every second of this trajectory and enjoy every moment. That's what really makes the difference,” said “FalleN” in the video that introduced the project to the world in January of this year.

Coach Luís "peacemaker" Tadeu said he accepted the challenge because the players' desire to be together was preponderant at this moment: "We all had the opportunity to continue our careers abroad, in foreign teams, but the desire to be together spoke louder. Last Dance is a reality, a project made by us. We count on everyone's support.”

The project has several majors champions of the game, equivalent to world titles. “FalleN” and “fer” are two-time champions, while “fnx” is a three-time champion. “boltz” reached the runner-up in 2017.
