Oddsgate is a new technology platform, enabling next-generation user engagement in all sports, including eSports, and aiming to be the number one provider of business-to-business (“B2B”) solutions for the global sports betting industry.
The company provides the system (software), data and an integrated wallet, through results-sharing agreements for betting operators (B2C).
The company was founded in Lisbon, Portugal, during the fourth quarter of 2021 and is committed to innovation in its technological solution, in order to become a relevant global player in understanding, leveraging and monetizing the power of data.
“When we formed the company, at the end of October 2021, we made a major investment in recruiting the best professionals in the areas of information technology, with an important focus on infrastructure and cybersecurity. We wanted to create a revolutionary, fully modular technology that allows operators looking to start or expand their operations to quickly and profitably outsource, leveraged on a secure, stable and always available system that leverages Big Data from our data partners to improve operating margins,” said Paulo Lopes, Managing Director of Oddsgate and majority shareholder of the company.
The executive also added: “We are making an investment of more than 3 million euros, in order to certify our technology in the main markets and we could not fail to elect Brazil as one of the first countries to allocate our investment.”
The Portugal start-up sets its mission to increase the engagement of its clients' sports fans globally through the vertically integrated turnkey platform.
The company already has 15 professionals, located in Lisbon and Kiev and promises to recruit aggressively in the coming months.
“We believe that the contagious passion of the Brazilian fans, combined with a huge professionalization of the stands that has been emerging in the last year, transform the market into a desirable place to debut our technology,” added Paulo Lopes.
In addition to eSports betting, the platform that seeks its first partners in Brazil, has the function of casino and betting on traditional sports such as football and basketball.
The platform has also integrated deposits and withdrawals, including PIX, as well as cryptocurrency wallets and more.
