The gaming sector has expanded globally and the course will provide participants with advanced training in the legal and regulatory aspects of the sports betting industry. Among the professors and guest speakers are top experts in the field, including Distinguished Professors of Gaming Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, current and former regulators, and leading executives in the sports betting and related industries such as sports date.
The course, which is a partnership between Católica | Lisbon Law School and the Macau office Rato, Ling, Lei & Cortés | Lektou, aims to innovate and provide participants with knowledge in emerging areas of law that require specialization. The sports betting industry needs qualified professionals and this course offers the possibility to acquire knowledge in its various areas.
Aimed at executives, lawyers, judges, consultants and other professionals or agents who work or intend to work in the industry, the course provides essential information about betting and the different legal and regulatory structures.
Participants will gain important background in the interpretation and application of laws, lexicon and legal concepts of sports betting and their inclusion in the global gaming industry, with the possibility of developing skills that are essential to exercise in the industry.

Degree in Law or any other whose professional experience allows and requires a specialization in these areas.

The Advanced Course in Sports Betting has a cost of €900, (full payment upon registration). Payment may be made in installments, under the conditions indicated in the registration form.
