Russia's invasion of Ukraine generated all kinds of measures around the world with respect to Russian companies and prominent personalities. From the political and diplomatic sectors to the economic, financial, and even in sports, the international community has imposed different sanctions on Russia. And that trend reached the gaming industry.
Clarion informed that the company banned the participation of Russian and Belarusian representatives in all its events.
“Given the current situation in Ukraine, we have taken the decision to suspend Russian and Belarusian state entities, companies, and their representatives from participating within Clarion Gaming’s events and digital products including the forthcoming 2022 edition of ICE and iGB Affiliate in London,” stated Clarion on its social networks.
“Our thoughts are with all those being affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine,” the company concluded.
Bringing together solutions providers and Gaming professionals across all sectors of the global industry, ICE London takes place next 12-14 April at ExCeL London, offering a complete platform to explore the future of the sector and drive revenues through invaluable meetings and networking opportunities.
ICE London is the Global Gaming Hub for all B2B industry experts, with all forms of gaming covered at the event, whether land-based or online.
