Clarion suspends participation of Russian and Belarusian representatives in its events

The war conflict unleashed by Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues to generate reactions and consequences in different areas worldwide. And the gaming industry is no exception. Clarion Gaming has informed that, current the situation in Ukraine, the company has suspended the participation of all kind of Russian and Belarusian representatives in its events, including 2022 edition of ICE and iGB Affiliate in London.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine generated all kinds of measures around the world with respect to Russian companies and prominent personalities. From the political and diplomatic sectors to the economic, financial, and even in sports, the international community has imposed different sanctions on Russia. And that trend reached the gaming industry.

Clarion informed that the company banned the participation of Russian and Belarusian representatives in all its events.

Given the current situation in Ukraine, we have taken the decision to suspend Russian and Belarusian state entities, companies, and their representatives from participating within Clarion Gaming’s events and digital products including the forthcoming 2022 edition of ICE and iGB Affiliate in London,” stated Clarion on its social networks.
