Building upon the success of the previous two Pinnacle Cup events that were won by Gambit Esports and Team Spirit, Pinnacle is pleased to announce the continuation of its flagship tournament series with the Pinnacle Cup III. This tournament will feature some of the best CS:GO teams in the world, who will be competing from March 14-30 for a share of the US$100,000 prize pool.
There's already exciting teams confirmed to take part, such as Savage, KOVA, Tricked, Endpoint, and K23, with more teams due to be announced over the coming days. They’ll all be competing for their opportunity to be crowned the Pinnacle Cup champion.
The tournament will be broadcast live on the TEBTV Twitch channel and for the first time, the official Pinnacle YouTube channel. GRID and RELOG Media continue to push the boundaries when it comes to providing a world-class viewing experience, tailor-made for the Pinnacle eSports audience.
Pinnacle’s official content partner GosuGamers will also be highlighting all of the exciting moments and stories from the event, in conjunction with Pinnacle’s own social media channels.

From the first phase, the Play-In, the opening matches will be MD1 series, while the remaining games will all be played in MD3. The top four will advance to the second stage. There, with twelve other invited teams and in the Swiss format, the teams that win three matches will be qualified for the playoffs, which will have only eight spots, as again four other teams join by invitations.
In the knockout stage, the format will be single elimination, whoever loses will be eliminated. All participating teams are: Savage, AGO, Unique, Kova, Sangai, Young Ninjas, Tricked, MAD lions, EC Kyiv, SKADE, Coalesce, Into the Breach, Coalesce, 777 and Brazilian representatives Case and Sharks.
In the editions of the Pinnacle Winter Series, Brazilians are present. In the first edition, FURIA was one of the guests, but fell in the quarterfinals to Wisla Kraków. 00Nation was present at Pinnacle Winter Series #2, the team led by Marcelo "coldzera" David was eliminated in the second phase of the tournament.
In the same edition, MIBR and GODSENT received invitations to compete from the playoffs. However, the MIBR team chose not to play, after the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The Brazilians were at the bootcamp in Warsaw, Poland, Ukraine's neighbor. On the contrary, GODSENT remained and played for the championship, but the team fell to GAMERLEGION 2-1 in the quarterfinals.
