The agreement giving exclusive marketing rights to data from competitions organized by the FPF to Stats Perform was announced at the end of January. Since then, it has been prohibited for other companies to generate data about competitions.
The exclusivity in the distribution of data to bookmakers around the world was an agreement that started in the first round of Paulistão Sicredi 2022 and was conducted by LiveMode, FPF's partner for all broadcast and commercial rights, and brokered by Zeus Sports Marketing (ZSM), an international media agency based in London and Singapore, a business partner of Stats Perform.
Since the beginning of Paulistão Sicredi A1, the Federation has intensified inspection measures in order to identify and combat the irregular marketing of betting data. And the websites responsible for offering sports betting to the public have already been communicated about the rules and what measures will be taken in case of infringement of FPF rights.
