Inova Lotto, a company from the interior of São Paulo, is launching a self-service totem on the market for lottery houses, sports betting companies and capitalization bond resellers. The company's objective is to install the terminals in shopping malls, airports, bus terminals, convenience stores and football stadiums, among other spaces with a large number of people.
According to Eduardo Maia, co-founder and CEO of the company, “Inova Lotto developed a partnership with Elgin, a manufacturer of interactive terminals, and with the Lins Technological Center, for software and API. With that, we arrived at a 100% national product with characteristics that make it a pioneer in the sector and a tool to guarantee agility to sports betting operators, lotteries and capitalization bond resellers, among other segments,” he says.
The executive attended last edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit, at the end of the year, looking for partners and, according to him, the networking that the event provided is opening doors for Inova Lotto to close partnerships with some sports betting companies.
“For reasons of confidentiality agreements, we cannot disclose it yet, but we are about to close a contract with a major sports betting operator. For them, it is a tool that greatly expands the opening of new sales channels for their bets and the agility that the customer looks for when faced with our terminal,” comments Maia.
According to him, sports betting companies can install totems in stadiums, “which will serve their audience in a dedicated way, the fans who like to place bets. The Inova Lotto terminal has the necessary penetration that sportbooks need to expand their customer base and still offer more options to their users,” he defines.
The company has already participated in meetings with Caixa Econômica Federal, in Brasília, to offer its solution for self-service terminals, but in view of the company's policy of operating only with its physical lottery network or via internet banking, application and the official website of Caixa Lotteries, it has not yet been possible to establish a partnership with the lottery retailers.
“But it is a tool at the disposal of this segment and I am sure that in a possible readjustment of the lottery sales policy, this situation could change the scenario of our consolidation in the market. We cannot fail to mention that in the future operation of state lotteries, we will have great possibilities, as most states discuss the implementation of their operations and distribution channels will certainly need to be created quickly. We have this solution at their disposal,” he guarantees.
