Senate conducts survey on Brazil's gaming legalization

DataSenado is conducting a survey to find out the opinion of Brazilians regarding the legalization of the gaing sector in the country. The poll will be live until April 1st and makes reference to Bill 2648/19, authored by Senator Roberto Rocha (PSDB-MA), with rapporteurship by Angelo Coronel (PSD-BA), who defends the expansion to all verticals of games, such as urban casinos, bingos, machines and jogo do bicho. The proposal has already received a favorable opinion from the Regional Development and Tourism Commission.

DataSenado, a research institute of the Federal Senate, is conducting a survey to find out what Brazilians think about the legalization of gaming in Brazil. To participate, the interested party must inform their email to be directed to the poll page.

The research takes into account Bill 2648/19, by Senator Roberto Rocha (PSDB-MA) and reported by Senator Angelo Coronel (PSD-BA), with a favorable opinion from the Commission for Regional Development and Tourism.

With the recent approval of Bill No. 442, of 1991, by the Chamber of Deputies, the legalization of gaming returns to the agenda of the Federal Senate. Bill nº 2648, of 2019, provides for the authorization of the exploration of games of chance that it specifies, for a determined period, through the association and development of the tourism and leisure industry in Brazil. In that regard:
