OAB São Paulo holds webinar to discuss upcoming regulation of sports betting

The Sports Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association / SP will hold, on April 6, starting at 7 pm, the webinar 'The regulation of sports betting'. The meeting will have the mediation of Felipe Legrazie Ezabella, president of the Commission, and the participation of André Feldman, CEO of Big Brasil – Brazil Internacional Games, WSOP operator; Udo Seckelmlann, master in sports law and lawyer at Bichara & Motta; and Wesley Cardia, Secretary of Development and Partnerships at the Ministry of Economy.

The São Paulo Section of the Brazilian Bar Association, attentive to the directions of the discussions on the regulation of sports betting and in line with the wishes of the sector and society, will hold the webinar " The regulation of sports betting”, which will take place through the zoom platform.

The meeting intends to be an additional forum for discussions on the regulation of sports betting, in the process of being presented to the market and being prepared by the Secretariat for Evaluation and Lotteries (SECAP) of the Ministry of Economy.

In fact, among the authorities present will be the Secretary of Development and Partnerships of the Ministry of Economy, Wesley Cardia, who should bring updates on the progress of the sports betting regulation process.

The pane lis completed with André Feldman, CEO of Big Brasil – Brazil Internacional Games, WSOP operator; and Udo Seckelmlann, master in sports law and lawyer at Bichara & Motta. The mediation of the webinar will be in charge of Felipe Legrazie Ezabella, chairman of the Sports Law Commission of OAB / SP.

The webinar is free, but the Commission is promoting a solidarity campaign that aims to raise food for assistance entities registered in the OAB / SP Solidarity Action Commission. Those interested can buy tickets for the action, which range from R$10 to R$200. Collaboration is spontaneous.
