Luiz Felipe Maia, renowned Brazilian lawyer partner at Maia Yoshiyzsu, owner of vast experience in the area of law and outstanding performance in the gaming area, has just received another international recognition. He was awarded at ICE London 2022 with the title of ‘Lawyer of the Year’.
The lawyer specializes in gaming and adds to the ICE title other important recognitions in the international market, such as Sports Law (Chambers Global 2022 and Chambers Brazil 2021), Global Elite Thought Leader 2021, among others.
During ICE London, the lawyer was awarded another trophy in his honor and highlighted to Games Magazine Brasil that “the recognition makes me very proud, especially for the fact that we are showing the world the seriousness of our country's gaming sector and the importance of the legal aspects followed to achieve the long-awaited legalization of the gaming sector and the regulation of sports betting.”
About ICE, he commented that “the number of Brazilians attending the event is impressive and even more the attention that the country attracts from operators and suppliers of products and services for our rich industry.
