In El Calafate, province of Santa Cruz, the 71st Ordinary Assembly of ALEA had more than 100 participants, representatives of 22 jurisdictions of Argentina and eleven adhering members of the association, companies providing services to the industry.
One of the central issues of the meeting was the election of the Board of Directors. In this sense, most of the positions were renewed, there was continuity in the main positions with the Presidency for the Lottery of the Province of Buenos Aires; and the Vice Presidency for the Salta Game of Chance Regulatory Entity.
For the 1st Vice Presidency, the Provincial Institute of Games and Casinos of Mendoza was elected. And for the Vice Presidency 2nd for the Social and Financial Fund of San Luis. In the position of Secretary continues Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires.; and in the Assistant Secretary, Lotería Chaqueña.
Quini-6, TecnoAcción, Casino Club and B-Gaming were the companies that sponsored the event where the ALEA Awards for communication in the gaming sector were also awarded, created to distinguish the best advertising and communication proposals in Argentina.
The ALEA Awards went to:
* Lotería Chaqueña in Category 2 Marketing/Commercial/Product by “Amigo”, Interbet;
* Lotería de Río Negro, which received two distinctions: in Category 1 Institutional/Social Responsibility/Responsible Gaming, for its video of the Responsible Gaming campaign "You don't play with health." And in Category 3 Defense of legal gaming for “Report illegal gambling”.
Jorge Manzo, President of Lotería de Río Negro and Diego Flores, Marketing Manager of Lotería Chaqueña received the distinctions that were delivered by the President of Lottery of Santa Cruz, Roberto López; the President of ALEA, Omar Galdurralde; and the Executive Director of the Association, Mario Trucco, at the closing of the working day of the 71st Assembly.
