Speaking during the vote on the complementary bill that changes rules for ICMS rates on fuel, Deputy Bacelar (PV-BA) oriented a vote in favor of the PLP but stated that “this is not the solution, but an authoritarian intervention.” For him, “we want to draw attention to the fact that if the Senate approves the regulatory framework for gaming, we could have resources to compensate for losses in states and municipalities.”
In response, the president of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), commented – laughing - that Bacelar “has already done the merchandising, he has already done the propaganda,” in a reference to the defense of the deputy on the approval of Bill 442/91, voted in the Chamber of Deputies and which is shelved in the Federal Senate.
Deputy Alice Portugal (PCdoB-BA) also took the opportunity to defend the approval of the bill in the Senate to "guarantee the nursing wage floor," as the government has not yet found resources to respect the Chamber's decision to raise the minimum wage of the category.
Subsequently, Arthur Lira stated: “I have had the information that the government will support the approval of gaming in the Senate,” being applauded by the parliamentarians present in the plenary.
