The Soft2Bet team, one of the top global leaders in the iGaming industry, will be in Brazil at the end of June at the Brazilian iGaming Summit. Before arriving in the country for the event, Issac Mizrahi, the company's country manager, spoke with GMB about the company's plans, its market differentials and the intention to expand investments in Brazil as soon as the regulation of sports betting takes place.
With a guaranteed booth at BiS, Isaac says he is looking forward to the second edition of the Brazilian iGaming Summit, where he will lead the Soft2Bet team with the aim of showing the Brazilian and Latin public the Soft2Bet platform and white label solutions available for the global gaming market.
Below are the main excerpts from the interview.
GMB - How did Soft2Bet outline its strategy to consolidate itself, in just three years after its foundation, as one of the main players in the global iGaming market?
Isaac Mizrahi – Since day one, Soft2Bet's strategy has been to offer 360 degree solutions, including casino gaming services, sports betting, payment solutions, cashout, customer service, VIP services, CRM strategies, KYC analytics in a very scalable way. As a provider of casino and sports betting platforms with flexibility at its core, we give the iGaming industry access to exactly what it needs. This allowed us to gain a lot of attention in a short period of time.
You talked about payment methods, data analysis and other topics. This is critical to a successful platform in the marketplace. How does Soft2Bet handle this issue?
What may be a problem for other companies, is an opportunity for innovation for Soft2Bet. To name some creative actions that we have had in the area of payments, for example, we have P2P solutions and NFT's technologies, factors that contribute to a market-leading approach like Soft2Bet is, to these payment methods. This puts us in an outstanding position to meet the needs of emerging markets, such as Latin America. In terms of data, we use very comprehensive analytics to determine what type of game is right for each type of market. So, we were able to make this type of adaptation according to each country, region or city. This is especially critical when considering features like gamification, which Soft2Bet takes great pride in doing. It also adapts our platform to meet the specific needs of our partners, which sets us apart from other companies.
Does being one of Europe's leading gaming platform providers entitle Soft2Bet to explore the LatAm market and stand out in a region that is growing day by day?
Our strong position in Europe gives us a unique vision to take our efforts to Latin America as well. We have recently obtained the license in Denmark and are seeking others in five jurisdictions across Europe, which gives us scope to provide a very comprehensive and first-class service. We can bring that experience with us to learn the unique needs and complexities of each market, just like Latin America.
How to create “white label” solutions for the Latin market that meet different regulatory requirements and with a universe of countries with such different cultures?
Soft2Bet's design ideas are very flexible. This means that they can be suitable for any and all types of markets. We have customer service available in over 20 languages including Spanish and Portuguese for Latin America and Brazil, multiple currencies, we have a very resilient platform with 99% uptime and a multifunctional back office that offers both online and face-to-face support. So I believe our product flexibility allows us to work collaboratively with the client to create brands that are award-winning in the industry, regardless of country or market.
Online gambling is booming on the continent, with countries already consolidated and regulated, especially Colombia and Argentina, and Brazil in the process of regulating sports betting. What does Latin America represent for Soft2Bet?
The enormous potential of Latin America is yet to be realized. Many countries have already made great efforts to regulate and develop legislative frameworks. And the populations of two countries in the region are particularly passionate about sports. So I believe that this combination will result in an adaptation from the physical market to the online one as well. And our speed to market will be more important than ever. As Soft2Bet's features are already in place, they will allow a physical operator to quickly adapt to the digital environment. This gives us great opportunities to demonstrate how adaptable our solutions are.
How to establish successful partnerships to serve the Latin market with products located and focused on the region?
At Soft2Bet we prioritize speed in acting. We have the advantage of accommodating a wide geographic range with management of multiple currencies, markets and, of course, risks. All are treated with a localized approach. We have already established effective processes, as local professionals, who lead the main markets as well as emerging ones. They provide a professional and local view of specific markets, which allows us to offer high-end products and solutions, tailor-made for a specific region to develop. Risks are also dealt with on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with the measures in force in each country and region.
What are Soft2Bet's immediate plans for the Brazilian market once it is regulated?
Soft2Bet already offers some brands in the Brazilian market, providing players with exclusive and unique experiences. Our products are already market leaders in Europe because of their quality and I believe it will be no different in Latin America. In addition to regular sports betting, we have a unique experience in the gaming world, such as a gamification system, which allows players to benefit not only from betting on their favorite leagues or markets, but can collect coins or tokens that can be exchanged for player cards, build virtual stadiums and have avatars and so on. We are now increasing the exposure of our brands in different media channels to deliver a product that brings entertainment, fun and, most importantly, safety to our users. We are following the news closely around the development of the regulation and with our experienced and professional team, we are prepared to act quickly and apply all the necessary requirements for when the regulation is confirmed. What drives us to be increasingly present in the Latin market is to reach a wide variety of users who are looking for a unique and safe product to enjoy to the fullest.
What are the main markets in Latin America for Soft2Bet?
Soft2Bet is investing heavily in the Latin market, but still waiting for regulation. There are some that have already reached this, so we are getting stronger in these markets. Brazil, due to its size and potential, is one of our main markets, but we also welcome Argentina and Colombia.
Do you believe in a quick regulation of sports betting in Brazil and in the legalization of other gambling verticals in the country?
We believe so and will give our support to the iGaming community. We are in favor of it happening as soon as possible so that the market becomes clearer, increases investments and brings benefits to the Brazilian population as a whole. In addition to the question of 'whether regulation will happen or not', we need to be very attentive to how it will happen and what will be determined. I understand that it has to be very clear and fair to users, providers and the rest of the population, who will use the benefits that this market will bring to the country. We keep an eye on the news, including GMB, which has a lot of exclusive information, and we attend conferences, with the aim of keeping up to date with the local iGaming community. Brazil is one of the last countries to legalize betting and we can bring international experience on what works and what doesn't work abroad. We must pay attention to these details and we hope that Brazil follows the global trend, taking advantage of opportunities even more after economic crises due to covid-19 and other things. I believe that Brazil has to seize this opportunity and explore not just one, but all verticals and include variety to better capitalize on this favorable moment in which Brazil finds itself.
In other words, is Soft2Bet prepared for the Brazilian market and ready to establish even more partnerships with the main players in the market?
Certainly. We will be attending local conferences at the end of the month. I think so, we have a lot to learn from the emerging Brazilian market. There are several niches that can be explored and developed. With our platform offering flexibility, location and attention to the smallest details, with cutting-edge technology, we have a lot to offer Brazilian and Latin users as a whole.
Will the Brazilian iGaming Summit be the stage for Soft2Bet in this new moment of the company in the Brazilian and Latin market?
