The UP Sports Bet campaign in which former Brazilian football coach Joel Santana, 73, plays three characters, sets a tone very close to what Brazilians are used to finding in the now brand ambassador. Caricatured, in his style, he plays a sports betting expert, a telemarketer who answers punters' doubts and a waiter, ready to hear the cries of those disappointed by the results.
The creativity of the production team went down well for one of the most renowned football coaches in Brazil, especially for the caricatured way in which the “A Firma Tá forte” campaign was conducted by the LiveSports team, responsible for the project, as well as the rapper Mc Estudante, producer and acting companion of the “King of Rio”, as the coach is affectionately treated in Rio de Janeiro.
Known for mixing the Portuguese language with excellent inventions in the English language, Joel Santana, in the video, shows this verve that has always marked his career by saying, right after the rapper Mc Student asked to confirm that the UP Sports Bet platform is bilingual , “tá de joking to me”, in an allusion to the correct sentence in Portuguese “are you kidding with me?”
In all, there will be four films by LiveSports, which will be broadcast on open and pay TV as well as on Up Sports Bet digital platforms and networks.
“It was an adventure, but an interesting learning experience. Thanks for the effort and quality of the team. We put together two distinct profiles, but curiously speaking to a large part of the same audience. We add creativity, professionalism, relaxation and planning. Up Sports Bet has been a partner that motivates us to always innovate. And the result was very good,” said João Palomino, CEO of LiveSports.
