Adriano Imperador will be present on June 10th, the date on which the event will feature attractions by Xand Avião, Flávio José, Nonato Neto and João Lacerda, who promise to drive the crowd wild on the return of one of the biggest events in Brazil – the festivities could not be held in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Flamengo's idol, Adriano was recently alongside another crowd that paid tribute to him: in April, he was invited by Inter Milan to return to Italy on a visit to the club that consecrated him. Adriano was present in the derby against Milan and visited the club's new headquarters. With Inter Milan, Adriano won eight titles between 2003 and 2009 and earned the nickname “Imperador” (Emperor), before returning to Brazilian football.
In Paraíba, BetPix365, which recently arrived in the sports betting market, invests around R$ 2 million (US$ 420k) in supporting the festivities of São João, which in Campina Grande is an important source of employment and move R$ 300 million (US$ 63m) in the region. According to the Associação dos Barraqueiros do Parque do Povo - the place where the festivity takes place -, more than two thousand jobs will be generated directly and indirectly due to the São João festivities in Campina Grande, where the event begins on June 10th and ends on July 10th.
The investment to hold the events will provide activations and attractions for the public after two years without the most awaited party in the region. In Parque do Povo, the company will use the space of the former Casino Eldorado to promote recreational sports activities, with gamified rewards in football and basketball games.
