The lottery market was taken by surprise this Friday (15() with the resignation of Otávio Cunha from the presidency of Loterj. In his place, the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro, appointed the lawyer Hazenclever Lopes Cançado.
The newly appointed president of Loterj holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Brasília and a master's degree in Constitutional Law from the University of São Paulo. Hazenclever is a partner at the law firm Lopes Cançado, in Brasília.
Loterj is in the midst of a bidding process for new online products, which cover instant and predictive modalities, and was already preparing to focus on the creation of sports betting shortly after the event that would launch new games in Rio de Janeiro.
The market, attentive to the direction that Loterj will give to the policy of expanding lottery products in Rio de Janero, hopes that both the bidding in progress and the future event for sports betting will not be interrupted.
