Sportingtech, one of the leading global companies in the field of iGaming, is preparing like never before for the regulation of sports betting in Brazil. In an exclusive conversation with GMB, Jhuana Lamas, firm's business development, says that the country is an important market for the company and that “it has the potential to grow much more” with the regulation.
GMB - How is the Brazilian market for Sportingtech at this moment when there is so much expectation about the regulation of sports betting?
Jhuana Lamas - Firstly I would like to thank you for participating in this interview; thank the Brazilian market, BiS, because we are having a very high visibility in the Brazilian market, which currently in everyone's opinion, including mine, is the best seen worldwide. I think we have the world's eyes on Brazil. Thank you then! Thank you also for the award, we are very happy; and, frankly, Brazil has the potential to grow much more.
Being at the head of the business development area of a company the size of Sportingtech for all of Latin America is a great responsibility, isn't it?
Sure! Very, very big. We have a lot of demand these days, for the success of our customers. Not only that, the platform is the most complete on the market today. I'm optimistic to say this, but that's not all, after all we won the award. But I believe that the Brazilian market is a challenge.
What to expect from Sportingtech when the regulation of sports betting in Brazil arrives?
All operators can expect full support from Sportingtech here in Brazil. We're going to be close to our operators so they can work together with regulation and make it work even better. Take it for sure.
Is this partnership with operators operating in Brazil already strong?
Very strong. We believe that Sportingtech now has the biggest operators in Brazil. The biggest are currently working with us, are happy, earning money and have the potential to grow even more.
When the regulation comes, will Sportingtech install a venue in the country to manage this relationship with Brazilian customers?
This is already being done at the moment. We have a process in progress to have a branch in São Paulo.
