To spearhead next stage in firm’s evolution

Sportingtech appoints Bobby Longhurst as Managing Director

Sportingtech, the multi-award-winning, full-service betting and gaming platform provider, has overhauled its executive team by appointing Bobby Longhurst as its new Managing Director, with the ambitious plans to extend firm’s reach in emerging and regulated markets worldwide. He brings with him a number of senior executives, including Colin McDonagh (Chief Sales Officer), Dan Stone (Head of Marketing) and Anthony Murphy (Head of Commercial Account Management).

Longhurst takes the reins after three successful years as Chief Commercial Officer at Pronet Gaming. Prior to that, he was Commercial Director at SBTech (now DraftKings) and Business Development Manager at Sporting Solutions.

He brings with him a number of senior executives, including Colin McDonagh as Chief Sales Officer, Daniel Stone as Head of Marketing and Anthony Murphy as Head of Commercial Account Management.

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Marketing at Sportingtech! Great to be a part of the next step in growth as we become the go-to provider of iGaming solutions across regulated and emerging markets,” commented Dan Stone on his social networks.

Under Longhurst, Sportingtech has ambitious plans to extend its reach in emerging and regulated markets worldwide, as well as lotteries, with its comprehensive sports betting and casino product offering.

The company will also be building on its strong existing presence in a number of global territories, including Latin America, where a wide range of operators already use its flagship Quantum platform.

Bobby Longhurst, Managing Director at Sportingtech, said: “I am delighted to be joining Sportingtech at such an exciting time in its development, as I believe we have a great opportunity to make a real impact in the industry.

We have a very talented team in place and I’m very pleased that we can add some further management experience to it, to build upon the success the company has enjoyed to date. The Quantum platform is constantly evolving to meet the needs of the most ambitious operators and we look forward to showcasing it in the coming weeks and months,” Longhurst added.

Sportingtech will make its debut at iGB Live! in Amsterdam this week on Stand R30, where Longhurst and his team will be on hand to discuss the latest opportunities available to both operator partners and fellow suppliers.
