Pinnacle, a respected industry leader with over 20 years of online gaming experience, has an established reputation for consistently delivering great value and an unparalleled betting experience. The online bookmaker is also widely regarded as a pioneer in eSports betting, having launched its first eSports bet in 2010 and has since been committed to developing the vertical.
Florencia Brancato, firm’s head of global markets, says: “I see that there is an interesting growth process, especially at this moment, with the imminent regulation of sports betting,” and that as soon as this happens, Pinnacle “will work very seriously, that is the way Pinnacle operates.”
GMB – What assessment do you make of the Brazilian market?
Florencia Brancato – The Brazilian market has been growing a lot. I have been working in this market for 15 years and I see that there is an interesting growth process, especially at ths moment with the imminent regulation of sports betting, which is maturing, and opening spaces for growth.
The company even has a strong vocation in the area of eSports, doesn't it?
Yes. We are dedicated to sports betting and everything related to eSports. Our casino is interesting and the two fastest growing segments are sports betting and eSports. So much so that we are working on actions such as the Pinnacle Cup, a very important eSports event in which we invite Brazilian teams to play.
Sure. Games Magazine Brasil published the action. How was the event?
It went really well. We did two editions, one online and one in person, in Switzerland in June. There were a lot of people and we took several Brazilian influencers to the event, who spread the word about the meeting.
How is the market for Pinnacle?
The Brazilian market is growing, and we see it in all areas and verticals, which has made us work hard.
How will it work in Brazil with the arrival of regulation?
We have to wait a while to see how things go, but the idea is to work very seriously, which is how Pinnacle operates. So let's see how the process goes.
What are the main regulated markets for Pinnacle in Latin America?
We are working on open markets with our pinnacle.com and investigating the laws in each of the countries to get everything right.
And in Europe?
In Europe we have interesting markets. We are now opening the Italian one and we already have the Nordic markets, where we have a license and we are working on it.
How is Pinnacle working with the affiliation segment?
It's a very interesting area. We work a lot on the topic. We have many new affiliates and we also create new ones. It's something we do, working very closely with them. And those who are not affiliates, but influencers or tipster, we teach them how to work with revenue share, because in reality they are partners in our business and the idea is to grow together.
Is it a good channel?
It's very good. It has always been and I believe that Latin America needs more affiliates. I believe it is part of the operators responsibility to create them. That's what we work for at Pinnacle.
