The president of the Gaucho Football Federation (FGF), Luciano Hocsman, celebrated the partnership agreement, signed this week.
"The Campeonato Gaúcho Feminino Ipiranga is already a reality and is one of the great competitions of the football calendar in Rio Grande do Sul. The proof of this is the leading brands and companies that are linking their name to the competition, as is the case of EstrelaBet," stated Luciano Hocsman to Esporte News Mundo through the press office.
The announcement of the partnership is seen as a strategy of the brand to strengthen the sport. EstrelaBet, for example, is already the master supporter of ‘Gurias Coloradas’, Internacional's women's team. Because of this, the company's director, Fellipe Fraga, stated that the objective is to enhance football as a whole.
"EstrelaBet values sport, football. Football is for everyone. Therefore, being together with women's football is one of our goals and we could not fail to be part of the ‘Gauchão’. The development process in the state is evident with the good performances at the national level, which makes the dispute much more competitive. We are proud to be by the side of the Gaucho Football Federation in this process," said the director of the bookmaker, Fellipe Fraga.
In addition to the director of the company, the person responsible for the marketing area of EstrelaBet, Rafael Zanette, also believes in the growth of women's football. His expectation is that the action in the Campeonato Gaúcho Feminino encourages decisions more focused on the category, not just mirroring men's football.

This year, the dispute will have a new format, with eight teams divided into two groups in the first phase and the two best ones advancing to the final hexagonal, which will count with the presence of Grêmio and the current champion Internacional.
