With Betsson master sponsorship debut, Athletico Paranaense moves up to Women's A1 Series

A week ago, Athletico Paranaense and Betsson announced a sponsorship deal covering both men's and women's football. And the great sensation of the ‘Gurias Furacão’ is that for the first time the girls went to the pitch wearing the new shirt, with Betsson stamped on the noble area of the uniform. The bookmaker was lucky for the team, as Athletico beat Botafogo on penalties and reached the elite of the Brazilian Women's Championship for the first time.

Betsson is the new master sponsor of the Athletico Paranaense women's football team, in an agreement that runs until December 2023. And this Saturday (13) the ‘Gurias Furacão’ played against Botafogo for the A2 Series of the Brazilian Championship and won the women's first division by winning the duel on penalties.

A reason for pride, this is the first time that the Athletico Paranaense women's team has a master sponsor. The ‘Gurias Furacão’ deserved it, as they are having an excellent season in the championship and will now compete in the elite of Brazil’s women's football.
