Dialogues with Betchamber presentes “Legalization of Gambling and Betting in Brazil” debate

Promoted by the Texan Chamber of Commerce in Brazil and supported by the Federation of Foreign Trade Chambers (FCCE), the debate “Legalization of Gambling and Betting in Brazil” will take place on September 2 (from 3 pm to 5:30 pm) via Zoom. The seminar will address the bill that regulates gambling and betting in Brazil and the speakers will discuss which games will become legal, where it will be possible to operate casinos, taxation and other topics related to the theme.

After being processed for more than 30 years without consensus, a proposal that legalizes gambling finds an agreement. With that in mind, Betchamber and FCCE will hold an event to discuss bill 442/1991 that regulates the exploitation of gambling and betting in Brazil, which was approved in February of that year and is awaiting approval by the Federal Senate.

The seminar will be attended by the president of the Texan Chamber, Mr. Max Paul, and will be mediated by Dr. André Luiz Andrade.

The event will have as panelists, the lawyer Neil Montgomery; the former General Director of the General Direction of Casinos of Uruguay, Javier Chá; the representative of betting companies in the USA, John Charles Cuttino; and the president of CETUR/CNC, Alexandre Sampaio.

At the seminar, speakers will discuss which games will become legal, where it will be possible to operate casinos, taxation and other topics related to the theme.
