The athlete, who has a career spanning more than 20 years, was a player for the Brazilian National Team and was part of the 1999 Copa América champion team, played for clubs in Brazil and abroad, including São Paulo, with which he won Libertadores champion and World Champion; Borussia Dortmund, where he won the Bundesliga; in addition to Flamengo and Milan. Amoroso was top scorer in several tournaments, such as the Brasileirão (1994), Italian Championship (1998-1999), German Championship (2001-2002) and the FIFA Club World Cup (2005).
