The public tender for the award of concessions for the exploitation of games of chance had, until last September 14th, the end of the deadline for submission of proposals, with a total of 7 bidders.
The opening of the Tender Committee's award proposals began at the “China Plaza” Building, which was attended by the members of the Tender Committee, the representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the representatives of the bidders who had already submitted their proposals.
The tender committee proceeded, in accordance with the order in which the bids were submitted, to open and examine the documents of the 7 companies, and by final deliberation the following ones were admitted: Wynn Resorts (Macau), S.A., Venetian Macau S.A., Melco Resorts (Macau) S.A., SJM Resorts, S.A., MGM Grand Paradise S.A., Galaxy Casino, S.A. GMM S.A was conditionally admitted.
The Commission will follow the provisions of the administrative regulation and the requirements of the tender program, to consult and negotiate with the admitted companies, as well as carry out the respective appreciation works.
