With the expertise of someone who has been selling ‘Loteria Instantânea’ products for over 30 years, Loteria do Estado do Rio de Janeiro has just implemented QR Code technology in all ‘Raspa Rio’ tickets. The application of this feature was made in the scratch-off area and allows the information contained in each ticket to be quickly and securely verified and validated.
“We are using all possible means to guarantee a safe, credible game, protected against tampering and, above all, to ensure that gamblers are purchasing a reliable product,” explained Loterj President Hazenclever Lopes Cançado.
Another Loterj novelty for its gamblers and dealers is that, soon, the points of sale will be equipped with P.O.S, a system that among its features offers users barcode and QR Code readers.
In this way, using the reader machines, whose systems will be integrated with those of Loterj, resellers will be able to validate the tickets and, at the same time, pay the winner. A facility and convenience for those who sell and, mainly, for those who bet.
