The reason for associating cards with tattoos is part of a beautiful story that reached Copag. A fan of playing cards came to the company to tattoo her grandmother's face on the Lady of Hearts, as she represents femininity, the caring, protective and dedicated woman she loves. The reason? The beautiful trajectory and good memories lived between them from playing cards. Inspired by this, the company entered into partnerships to provide a different Deck of Cards Day to all lovers of this fabulous product.
“We live and help people live beautiful stories from the deck. It has been in operation for more than 114 years, passing this culture on to several generations. We know that, in the same way as our reference for this tribute, many people also have beautiful stories and many related memories. Therefore, we want to convey this emotion to everyone,” says Mariana Dall’Acqua Lopes Tatimoto, VP of Marketing at Copag.
To participate, those interested just need to register through the Sympla platform. However, they will need to keep an eye on Copag's instagram (www.instagram.com/copagoficial), as the last batch of registration will open on September 5th. The arts of all tattoos will have reference to the deck and will be pre-defined, not being allowed any kind of alteration or modification.
For those who want to live this experience, but do not intend to get a tattoo, Copag invites them to follow along in the same way. Two ‘instagrammable’ spaces await visitors, who can guarantee exclusive company gifts. In addition, in partnership with H2, a schedule of poker classes will also be available to the public, who can participate for free.
The aim is to bring the audience that knows nothing about the game to learn. In “Learn Playing” there will be a real class of poker, in which people will learn the game in practice, while playing a game. During the “Poker Tips” hours, the dealer will be available to answer any questions, teach specific things or even make a quick game.
The Deck of Cards Day is a tradition for Copag. The idea is to take advantage of the date, 9/13, chosen in honor of Deck 139, the most famous and sold in Brazil, to stimulate this culture and follow the legacy of bringing people together and crossing different generations of Brazilians.
