The Campeonato Carioca has a new naming right in 2023: Betnacional. One of the largest in Brazil in the betting segment, the company has just closed a one-year agreement with Brax Sports Assets, manager of the broadcasting and commercial rights of the most attractive and seen state tournament in the country, to name the competition – which started this Thursday (12), with the game Flamengo 1 x 0 Audax, in Maracanã, with the final scheduled for April 9.
In addition to promoting activations in stadiums and inserting its brand on LED panels and static signs to enhance the Carioca Championship, Betnacional has the right to broadcast the competition games on its website and YouTube channel.
By signing Carioca's name, Betnacional reinforces its vocation and conviction to invest in football. The company already has the brand in other state championships (Mineiro, Gaúcho, Catarinense, Pernambucano), Regional (Copa do Nordeste) and National (Series A and B of the Brazilian Championship and Copa do Brasil).
"The Campeonato Carioca is a commercial power due to its national and even international reach. We are the most watched in Brazil and our brand will enter the homes of millions of fans", emphasizes the president of the Football Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Ferj), Rubens Lopes.
"It is the union of a great player with Campeonato Carioca, which has national brands. It is a bold action with one of the largest betting companies in Brazil. The expectation is one of the best in terms of activations and the business model," says Bruno Rodrigues, one of Brax's partners, who negotiated the agreement in favor of Ferj.

Betnacional also renewed its sponsorship of Náutico, Santa Cruz, Sport and Vitória teams, in addition to sponsoring the 2022 Taça das Favelas, aired by Globo network, among other advertising actions, such as the sponsorship of Placar magazine and the recent participation quota on Globo at the World Cup.
In the stadiums, Betnacional had its brand displayed on advertising boards for the 2022 Brazilian Championship games and will be the sponsor of Football 2023 on Globo.
