Ramiro Atucha, CEO - Vibra Gaming

"The consolidation of Vibra as a brand and our team growth were achievements of 2022"

With an expected rebranding and several partnerships with great repercussions within the industry, Vibra Gaming closed a successful 2022 in every way. Exclusively for Games Magazine Brazil, Ramiro Atucha, CEO of the company, reviews the goals achieved last year and the goals set for 2023. 'We have been pleasantly surprised by the interest from other markets such as Asia, Italy and Spain,' the executive reveals.

GMB - What balance do you make of the performance and growth of Vibra in 2022? Was it what you expected or did it exceed your expectations?
Ramiro Atucha
- The year 2022 in many aspects has exceeded our expectations. We have had a great presence in the different events of the industry through attendance, stands, participation in panels and conferences.

I must admit that our growth has been helped by the relevance that LatAm is taking as a market and the progress in regulation. This has made our offer of products designed and created for LatAm take on special relevance.

Could you list the main achievements or objectives met?
I believe that the consolidation of the recognition of Vibra as a brand, and the growth of our work team are the most important achievements. From this comes the launch of games (and how satisfied we are with their quality!) and the integrations with operators and aggregators that we are generating.

Although our products are specialized in the Latin American market, we have been pleasantly surprised by the interest in other markets (Asia, Italy, Spain, among others).

In your sector within the industry, what topics or technological advances do you think will dominate the market in 2023? What will be the future trends?
At the content level, I am convinced that the localization of themes and functionalities will continue to increase, as will the search for innovation.

At the platform level, after initially using platforms designed for other markets, we have noticed a growing interest in localized platforms, designed for LatAm and with a closer service. Eventually all the big operators (or those that aspire to be) will seek to have their own technology. It is a too critical element to be out of control.

Did you feel that the Brazilian gaming market made progress this year or did it miss another opportunity? What do you see about regulation in the country by 2023?
Brazil continues to lose the opportunity to regulate the gaming sector. There is a false belief that regulating is supporting gambling. In reality, not regulating (or regulating poorly) is supporting clandestine gambling. To regulate is to protect players, collect taxes and allow an entertainment sector to grow properly.

What are the main goals/objectives of Vibra for 2023?
In 2023 we intend to continue growing and strengthening the bond with our industry partners. We will seek to continue improving our products and our work team.
