The Rio de Janeiro State Lottery approved PIXS Cobrança e Serviços de Tecnologia to provide payment processing services for the lottery modalities operated by Loterj.
The decision was published in the State Official Gazette and now PIXS will have until mid-February to present the Term of Reference and model of the payment system for Loterj's prior analysis of the tool's features.
All the technical requirements demanded by Loterj in the Notice will be audited and checked on February 2nd so that the company has the technical approval and proceeds with the procedures for the beginning of the service provision.
Prior to homologation and publication of the decision in the State Official Gazette, the Court of Auditors analyzed and denied requests to contest the result of the bidding presented by IGT Brasil/Scientific Games and by AC7 Pay.
With the new tool, Loterj will have an electronic platform that will allow not only the payment of lottery tickets by customers in Rio de Janeiro, but also a more effective control of the result of lottery operations in the state.
