In the last year, Loterias CAIXA presented the best result in its history. This historical collection mark represents a sustained growth made possible by actions developed to leverage performance, such as the launch of +Milionária, the new Timemania, the implementation of QR Codes in betting receipts and the expansion of multiple bets on the Mega-Sena to up to 20 numbers.
Considering the prizes offered in 2022, a total of R$ 8 billion (US$ 1.53b), the amounts represent 23.4% more than in 2021, when the CAIXA Lotteries registered R$ 6.5 billion (US$ 1.24b).

Once again, the Mega-Sena is the main modality of Loterias CAIXA, responsible for the highest percentage of collection, corresponding to 47% of the total collected, that is, more than R$ 10.9 billion (US$ 2.1b).
Next is Lotofácil, responsible for R$6.6 billion (US$ 1.26b) and a 28.3% share of CAIXA's gaming portfolio. In third place, with a 13.1% share, Quina raised more than R$ 3 billion (US$ 575m).

The biggest draw of Loterias CAIXA, the Mega da Virada, celebrated its 14th edition with the biggest prize in the history of the entity, in the amount of R$ 541.9 million (US$ 104m). There were 5 winning bets in the main bracket and each one received R$ 108,393,993.26 (US$ 20.8m).
Mega da Virada 2022 also registered a record collection, surpassing R$ 1.9 billion (US$ 364m), 29.6% above the previous record, in the 2021 edition.
Transfers
Loterias CAIXA transferred R$ 10.9 billion (US$ 2.1b) in 2022 in social benefits to several priority areas in the country, such as security, public safety, health, education, sports and culture.
The amounts transferred to legal beneficiaries last year were a record and represented a 23% growth in relation to transfers made in 2021, when Loterias CAIXA transferred R$ 8.8 billion (US$ 1.7b).
Social Transfer is the core activity of Loterias CAIXA which, in addition to fueling the dreams of millions of players, constitute an important source of funds to foster social development in Brazil.
This is because almost half of the total collected from the games, including the percentage destined for Income Tax, is passed on to investment in priority areas of the country.
