The top 3 players in the PPGL event will be selected as PPPoker ambassadors and will be sponsored for up to US$10,000 to play in live poker events recognized by the Global Poker Index.
The event is divided into two stages: the Qualifying Phase and the Finals.
During the Qualifying Phase, the player can earn Qualifying Points by participating in MTTs and PPSTs within Leagues or Super Leagues. The points you earn will also be entered to the total qualifying points score for the country the player represents.
At the end of the qualifying round, the 20 countries with the most Country Qualifying Points will advance to the Finals. The top 20 players with the highest Personal Qualifying Points in each of these countries will advance to the Finals.
Finals will be held in the form of an official tournament, where players can earn Final Points upon arrival at ITM. The country with the most Weighted Points at the end of the Final tournament will be crowned the Champion. In The Champion Country, players with the highest Weighted Personal Points will receive the highest rewards, including the opportunity to become PPPoker ambassadors.
In PPGL Season 1, the Qualifying Round will end on February 25 at 07:59 (GMT-3) and the Final stage, where players can earn Final Points when they arrive at ITM, will be on February 26 at 12:00 (GMT-3) with 100,000 GTD DIAMONDS!
